Hi translators and friends of Geany,
Short after announcement of string freeze for Geany, I'm happy we also
have a string freeze for the combined Geany-plugins project which is
also planned to be released in about 2 weeks.
As before, I'd be very happy if you could send a patch or complete file
with translation to either the geany-i18n mailing list or direct to me
within the next two weeks so we can include it to the next release.
Deadline will be 2010-06-02.
To make it more easy for you I've already uploaded updated versions of
the po files to svn with r1395. You can access them as always at
http://geany.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/geany-plugins/trunk/geany-plugins
or by checking out the svn tree of Geany by using e.g.
svn co https://geany.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/geany-plugins/trunk/geany-plugins geany-plugins
Fans of git can also use the interface provided by http://git.geany.org
by using
git clone http://git.geany.org/git/geany-plugins
Also at http://i18n.geany.org/plugins are statistics and daily updated
files available.
As mentioned before, we are trying to have all translations complete by
2010-06-02.
If your language was translated by two or more in past, please double
check directly with them or by pinging me, so we don't need to translate
same things two or three times. Also please feel to ping me for every
question or if you like to start a new translation for an unsupported
language.
Thanks and happy translating ;)

Sorry for sending two Geany Portuguese updates in a row, but this is 100%
translated now.

Ok, I thought this was different from Liu's problem...
However, even if their user-configurable why shouldn't its default value be
translated?
There are people out there that will surely be using the menu with its
default values, if it fits their needs...
2) Also attached is the Portuguese translation for Geany Plugins.
Kind Regards,
André
Hello,
I'm sending the Portuguese updated translation for Geany 0.19.
I have 1 fuzzy translation "Architectures" referenced in symbols.c:761
because I don't understand the context of it.
I didn't have the problem stated by Xhacker Liu the Simplified Chinese
translator, but in the Build menu the following 3 sentences to not get
translated:
*Make Custom _Target referenced in build.c:2458, 2634, 2689
Make _Object referenced in build.c:2460, 2635, 2697
_Make referenced in build.c:2462, 2633
*
This was tested on svn version 4960.
One final note, do not try to use lauchpad's version since it's outdated.
I've been trying to update it, but so far I believe I'm not having any
sucess.
Kind regards,
André
I populated a new SVN directory and run './autogen.sh', 'make' and
'./waf configure' on this: no problem at all. Also did the
'./waf configure' again on the previously used working copy, and now the
problem is solved. Glitch from my installation, I think.
Greetings,
Peter Scholtens

Hello Frank,
An updated version of the Dutch translation is uploaded. However,
regardless of this change, I noticed the ./waf --update-po script fails!
Hope that the 0.19 will be a very stable release.

Thanks for confirmation. So this is not a problem. I don't consider
user-configurable strings necessary to be localised (while it isn't
possible at all for anything else than the defauls).

Hello,
I'm glad to hear that, but I'm having some problems recently on my machine - as dedicted beta tester I recently switched to FC13, but problems were known to me before that.
Please recheck sl.po on server, I need to restore the mail client and some other programs (where I also voluntariliy work as localizer), so I'm mailing from webmail for now.
Cheers, jože

Hi,
I'm running geany 0.19 from SVN (downloaded 29/04/2010 from
http://files.uvena.de/geany/) and I can't get it to highlight java source
files. My other code is OK (perl, PHP, python, bash, xml, javascript, ...)
and the filetypes.java file is located where all the others are
("/usr/local/share/geany/filetypes.java").
Anyone else having this problem?
Cheers,
