Hallo zusammen,
kann man in Geany auch die Möglichkeit nutzen, per FTP Daten zu laden und zu speichern, wenn ich die entsprechenden Veränderungen an einer Datei durchgeführt habe... damit man sich das lokale Abspeichern spart und online quasi wie lokal arbeiten kann.
Danke für eine Antwort

Hi to the list...
I finished today the Greek translation el.po.
Can you please upload it to the Geany repos?
Thank you...

Hi everyone :)
Just a quibble ;) but I notice the stats page does not show a
complete green bar if you have no untranslated or fuzzy strings.
Surely it should?
There is still a thin, but noticeable yellow and red bar at the end.
I do like to see those complete green bars!

Hi to the list...
I made about the 50% of the greek translation and already updated to the
string Geany 0.13.
I would request you to upload the el_GR.po file to the geany svn repo.
It's better for me to work thru the svn.
Thank you...

Dear Translators and friends of Geany,
we are happy to announce the string freeze for Geany 0.13. After about 4
month of developing we are planing a new release around first week of
February. Because of that we are trying to finish all translation work
till Saturday, 02.02.
Since Geany 0.12 a lot of things changed. One of the most important
things was extending the plugin system. But there were also tons of
updates and other new features, causing a big number of new strings to
translate.
Frank uploaded the updated catalog (geany.pot) and the po-files into svn
so you can download it from the web interface at
http://geany.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/geany/trunk/po/
or by using your svn-client to check out
http://geany.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/geany/trunk/po
Statistics are available at http://geany.uvena.de/i18n where you
also can download daily updated pot-file and po-files.
Please also check, if your email printed inside the about-dialog is
still correct or send me a short mail if you don't want to be listed
there as current translator anymore.
Please subscribe to the geany-i18n-mailing list. Since there are so
many of you supporting Geany it is hard to keep a local list up2date
and we don't want to bother somebody with unwanted messages or forget
somebody to inform. You can find a link at
http://geany.uvena.de/Support/MailingList
Regards,
Enrico

Hi translators,
I'm happy to announce a new translation.
Today I added translation for Ukrainian language (uk_UA.UTF-8) to svn.
The translation was provided by Boris Dibrov. A huge thanks to him.

Hi...
This is the first time i write to the list.
I started to translate geany to my native language (greek).

-download svn geany: svn co
https://geany.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/geany/trunk geany
-after i install the needed dev packages i run succesfull: ./autogen.sh
-then i create the el_GR.po file: msginit -l el_GR -o el_GR.po - i geany.pot
-and i translate already 50 lines using kbabel
-after i add el_GR in LINGUAS file, i run intl_stats.sh to check the
translation status
this is i know so far.
what more need i to do? what else need to learn about svn?

Hi,
Geany 0.11 has been released.
There have been many changes since Geany 0.10.2. An almost complete
list can be found on http://geany.uvena.de/Documentation/ReleaseNotes.
Some important notes for existing users:
* Tab is now used for construct completion (for, if, etc.), but it is
configurable with the new 'Complete construct' keybinding.
* Template files are now stored in ~/.geany/templates/ and the
'template.' filename prefix is no longer used. You will need to move
any custom template files you have.
* Inserting a file header is now optional for filetype templates. Use
the string '{fileheader}' to mark where the file header should be
placed.
* Drag'n'Drop of text inside the editor widget will now move the text
instead of copying it.
And the most important new feature: Project Management ;-).
We want to thank all the translators who updated and added their
translations as well as the many contributors for this release. Thank
you!
All downloads can be found as usual on
http://geany.uvena.de/http://files.uvena.de/geany/ or
https://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=153444
For Windows users:
There is a new installer based on the Nullsoft Installer and it is
available as a base installer which contains Geany with all related
files and there is a full installer which contains also a complete GTK
runtime environment. If you already have GTK installed on your system,
you should use the base installer but it won't hurt if you choose the
full installer.
Happy coding,
Enrico

I thought about keeping the big CC because of that, but finally I
think those who care would subscribe and those that doesn't shouldn't be
bothered.
This time I send a patch against r1515, which was 1/3 of the whole .po
file and also under the default mailman limit for lists ;-p (40K) so I
hope this get through.
If there's any other Spanish speaker (specially a .es Spanish
speaker), it would be nice if he can review my translations to clean it
out of any Argentinism, as I'd like to (and tried to) keep a neutral
Spanish.
Also (slightly OT) if anyone knows any way to spell check msgstrs on a
console I would be glad to know (extra points if it uses aspell), as I
don't use poedit, gtranslator or any other such program.
