Additional note:
you can workaround the problem by starting Geany with the command line
argument "-d" which creates an extra console window and does some IO
redirecting.
And this IO redirecting makes it actually work, unfortunately I don't
know a way to do this without the additional console window. But it
should be good enough at least for a workaround.
