Problems to install geanymacro, failure on chewcking the GPG signature

Dear list members, In search for a text editor with marco recording capabilities I came across this website: https://plugins.geany.org/geanymacro.html. (Hint: just add a link to the place from where I can download the searched-for plugin. That would make life easier). The descritipon looks like this is exactly what I am looking for. I search for the place from which it can be downloaded, I came across https://plugins.geany.org/downloads.html showing me Download Geany-Plugins The latest version is 1.35, you should take a look at the release notes <https://raw.githubusercontent.com/geany/geany-plugins/1.35.0/NEWS>. It should be: 1. download the packed archieve in the form you like best. 2. click onto the item in the column SIG of the line you have chosen to download the *.sig file for the downloaded item. 3. cd to your Download directory or the place wher you have put the two downloaded files. 4. import the key of the author via |gpg --recv-keys B507ACD04BA283C9| 5. /add the necessary steps to make the program from the downloaded sourcecode./ There is some description, but when I follow it, I don't get through. Customizable toolbar

Hi, I hope I write to correct place. Is there possibility to have more icons in toolbar? My case: I want be able compile in python2 or python3. Python3 is my default, so it is in toolbar. Python 2 I have as entry in "Build" option - is it possilbe to make it as one click icon in toolbar? weatherman

Hi, I didn't understand if the official geany plugins are developed by the same geany developers and are "certified" to be secure before they become "official". Thanks

(Version 1.34.1) Terminal pane: Correcting the dbind error when opening files IN Geany

Here's the complete error message: (geany:23128): dbind-WARNING **: 12:13:51.918: Couldn't register with accessibility bus: Did not receive a reply. Possible causes include: the remote application did not send a reply, the message bus security policy blocked the reply, the reply timeout expired, or the network connection was broken. I remember having this problem briefly in a previous version. How do I correct it here and now? Can I dump the Terminal pane plugin and reinstall it, or do I have to reinstall the whole application? cmake builds on windows

Hello, I was wondering how to best run a build with CMake, e.g. CMakeLists.txt project(myprj) add_executable(myprj main.cpp) Then, would I generate this project with: mkdir build cd build cmake -G "..." .. cmake --build . What would be the flow with Geany? Thanks! Patrick

I always have been looking for a text editor to write documentation, with text folding keyword highlighting clickable access to web addresses and other files like I have always enjoyed with Geany (Python coding). To my embarrassment and shame, I didn't realize that Geany itself was all that I ever needed. See attached screen fotos .....
