Hi All
Using FreeBasic with Geany 1.27 and having difficulty getting the
user1=myspecialword to work.
I have copied the filetypes.freebasic to ~/.config/geany/filedefs and
edited it there.
From my reading on the FreeBasic forum I saw that the colouring of
user1 is controlled by word3.
The filetypes.freebasic suggest editing colours in the colorscheme .conf
file.
There wasn't a file there, but copying alt.conf there made no change at all.
If I add my word to the [keywords] then it gets high lighted, but I want
separate colours for
the user1 keywords.
Can someone please suggest what the problem is.
Regards
Hi,
Geany 1.28 in Win7. I tried all googled answers to turn off highlighting
the current line but did not work.
How is it done?
Thanks.

Hi folks,
during our booth at FrOScon in Sankt Augustin, Germany a few weeks ago
we had a little discussion about low number of people running booth. As
during last years this were always the same ones for Geany (Enrico,
Jiri, me) this is some kind of CfP for running a booth or taking part at
any fitting event.
In Central Europe, well mostly Germany/CZ, we are trying to be present
at 4 bigger events (Chemnitzer Linuxtage in spring, FrOScon in summer,
Prague Linux Days and OpenRheinRuhr in autumn). For this events it would
be cool if _you_ like to join us telling users and future users how
great Geany is and getting some feedback etc.
If you are not from this region, but you have a FLOSS event at your side
(or any event Geany could fit into), why not running you own booth? We
got some experience and materials prepared over time so we could help
you organizing it. Just say "ping".
This being said: Even such an event can be hard, telling about 100 times
the same thing, its totally worth for users feedback and meeting people
etc. Hey and some of the events offer free entrance and beverages too ;)
Cheers,
Frank
Hi folks,
We will again have a booth at Prague Linux Days[1] at 2nd weekend of
October. The event will happen 2016-10-08 and 2016-10-09 and we will be
there together with folks of Xfce and Midori.
So if you are lucky and around, why not saying "hi" or join us at the
booth ;)
Cheers,
Frank
