Hi
Documentation suggest that if I want to change global tag file. I need to place new one to /usr/share/geany.
This have the following problems: 1) It will get overwritten when upgrading Geany 2) Different users may require different tags
The following patch make geany first search for global tags files in user home directory. Can you apply it?

Thanks for the patches. I think it's best if we use the tagfile.lang.tags format for custom tag files. The plan is to have a directory, say ~/.geany/tags where all *.lang.tags files are loaded when they are first needed. For the next release the global.tags file with GTK & GLib tags will remain, but after that it will be changed to something like stdc.c.tags, with a separate download for gtk2.x.c.tags.
So for now I think problem 1 is not so important (because the global.tags filename will soon change), so I haven't applied the patch. I'll see if the above plan is implemented when it's time for the next release, and maybe apply the patch if not.
