I think it's an interesting language - are any other projects using it yet?
I don't think we're likely to use it for Geany though - as it is we only use GObject for the plugin signals. But I suppose personally I avoided it because it's so ugly to do in C. Perhaps it could be useful if we wanted to create custom widgets.
