I just tried this on a regular x86_64 Linux (ubnuntu) installation, and the expected prompt appears.

that's what I thought would happen, but this is not the case. It works quite well, and never asks for permission. I rebooted, wrote a new program, tried it on another computer (RPI). works every time. (no Im not running geany as root) geany 1.37 & 1.38
