Hello again
I found out what was causing the problem.
I was using Ubuntu with the *Wayland* option. Some days ago I tried this option and it became the default.
Back to the normal Ubuntu, Geany is working fine again.

After an update it happened that some special characters like á ã ~ do not appear in the editor. They appear only in the terminal.
I changed the keyboard to US international format but the problem still remains.
Is there a way to overcome this problem?
