Possibly OT, but speaking of copy&paste. I noticed that the cut buffer (or clipboard?) is cleared when geany exits, is there any reason for this?
AFAIK this is the default behaviour, also for other applications. I wouldn't even know how to change this.
As a workaround, just use a clipboard manager.
