Hi translators and friends of Geany-(Plugins),
After Geany 0.21 has been released yesterday its time for a new release of Geany-Plugins.
We got a number of new plugins as well as huge number of new features on the one hand. On the other hand the plugins are not translated into many languages and existing translations are missing a lot of translations. I hope we are able to change this ;)
As always, I'd be very happy if you could send a patch or complete file with translation to either the geany-i18n mailing list or direct to me within the next two weeks so we can include it to the next release. Deadline will be 2011-10-14.
To make it more easy for you I've already uploaded updated versions of the po files to svn with >r2223. You can access them as always at
http://geany.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/geany-plugins/trunk/geany-plugins
or by checking out the svn tree of Geany by using e.g.
svn co https://geany.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/geany-plugins/trunk/geany-plugins/...
Fans of git can also use the interface provided by http://git.geany.org by using
git clone http://git.geany.org/git/geany-plugins
Also at http://i18n.geany.org/plugins are statistics and daily updated files available.
As mentioned before, we are trying to have all translations complete by 2011-10-15.
If your language was translated by two or more in past, please double check directly with them or by pinging me, so we don't need to translate same things two or three times. Also please feel to ping me for every question or if you like to start a new translation for an unsupported language.
Thanks and happy translating ;) Frank
Hi folks,
An update on this: We found a couple of strings which weren't marked as translatable correctly. I will not upload new po-files to don't break your might started translations but I'd like to ask you to run an svn up or git pull and execute ./waf updatepo or make update-po to get an up2date catalog for your translations.
Cheers, Frank

Hi translators,
This is an reminder with full quote: Please be so kind and check your translations. Even we have extended the period for finishing stuff for geany-plugins 0.21 unfortunately I didn't received many more updates for translations. Also unfortunately we had to change a little number of strings. So please be so kind and double check your translations.
Looking forward to hear from you ;) Cheers, Frank

Sorry, but I just added 7 more strings [1] that did already exist but wasn't marked as translatable -- shame on me, I know.

[1] though only 5 are actually displayed, the 2 other just came in together -- check the r2297 for details ^^
Hi, I'm in the middle of updating the spanish translation and I don't have the means of doing a svn checkout. Is there any tarball of the svn tree available so I can do a waf --update-po?

I think this is OK and has often been done before. Please correct me if wrong Frank ;-)
Just before the release I think Frank updates geany.pot anyway so this shouldn't cause problems if identical strings existed already.

Hum no, you got me wrong: I meant that I added new strings to translates, but that these strings did already exist in the code but wasn't marked as translatable... so it really adds 5 new strings to translate.

Well... Tranlations of plugins are in such a bad shape, that this doesn't matter much to be honest.
