please don't use the current SVN version for production use. We have added some code for detecting BOM(byte order mark) for Unicode detection and some other encoding related things have changed.

At the moment loading files might work but it also can fail.

Saving files should be considered as broken and can damage your files. Sorry for the inconvenience, we are about to fix the code.

If you want to test, feel free to do so and send us any feedback.
