Set up Geany too use python3: GOTO > Tools > Configuration Files > Filetype Configuration > Scripting Languages > filetypes.python --> Change: EX_00_CM=python2 "%f" > EX_00_CM=python3 "%f" Restart Geany.

Easiert to do it Build->Set Build Commands (with Filetype = Python)
