if someone is using Debian Testing and want to use Geany, I recommend to downgrade your GTK libraries to 2.8.10. The required packages are available at http://www.uvena.de/files/gtk-2.8.10/.

You need this version because of a bug in Geany with newer GTK versions which causes crashes. I'm sorry about and try to fix the bug as soon as possible.
