Hello,
I cannot overwrite files on ftp-servers with Geany 0.16. The FTP-Connection is established with Nautilus from Gnome. Normal saving and opening works fine. I haven't done anything in the config-files.
I'm using Gnome 2.26 and Ubuntu Jaunty Alpha 6. A friend with a stable Version of Gentoo-Linux has the same problem. I hope somebody will help me on this way, because I love Geany.
Best regards, Peter Majmesku

So far, I have no idea what could be wrong. I just tested overwriting a file on a FTP server and it worked as expected.
What exactly does "cannot overwrite" mean? Any error messages? What exactly happens and what not? Did you try other applications like Leafpad or Scite (Gedit doesn't help as it works differently when working with remote files).
