Hey, Geany is pretty nice. I'm finding myself using it more and more often when I edit source code.
I'm wondering however if there is a way to tell Geany that .mtt files should be recognized as just HTML?
.mtt is a haxe template. I don't care about any haxe specific stuff in .mtt files, I'd just love to have Geany parse and color them as HTML.
So, I guess I'm asking, is there a way to configure .mtt to be recognized as HTML or do I have to hack Geany source code?

There should be a file called filetype_extensions.conf in your ~/.geany/. Editing this file should solve your problem i think. ;)

Almost, the file filetype_extensions.conf doesn't exist in ~/.geany by default. You must copy it from the global installation directory of Geany (probably /usr/share/geany/ or something similar).
For more details see http://geany.uvena.de/manual/0.13/index.html#filetype-extensions. If you have further questions, just ask.
