Greetings to all the suscribers of the mailing list!
I am a Greek student and I am experiencing an odd problem with geany. As a Greek I tend to create folders giving them names in greek fonts, well Geany cannot open any source file that is located under a directory with greek fonts. In the bottom line appears the message "<directory> (No such file or directory)". When I move the file to an english folder everything is fine. The strange thing is that in the OpenFile dialog box all my folders appear right ( those with english fonts as well as those with greek fonts ) with my files (whose names are always in english) right where they are supposed to be.
Does anybody have any idea what' s wrong here?
I should also add that at somepoint in the past I had experienced the same problem with Gimp. The solution came when I added the Gimpshop. So, could this problem be related to the Gtk ?

Probably you mean Greek characters and not fonts. Anyway, Geany _should_ be able to handle that but obviously it does not ;-(. Can you send me(best per PM) a tarball with one or two of these Greek folders? So I can do some tests. Which operating system and locale are you using? Which version of Geany and GTK?

It should be solved since SVN r1456. Please try one of the new Windows builts [1] and report whether it is indeed fixed.
