Is it possible in geany to have separate buttons, key combo, or even check box preferences for show/hide tabs, show/hide spaces, show/hide EOLN. Show/hide whitespace does not help me. I need separate show/hide for each whitespace type char. Is this in Geany? And I need this accessible as buttons on the toolbar and/or key combos.
How do I change the chars for tabs and spaces. I can not see them. I have view whitespace enabled. Maybe they are too faint. I can't tell. I think I did this before once.
Thanks for help.

Bah! pressed send too soon.
With this on they show up as light "dots" does this not happen for you? Have you changed your sntax highlighting colors?
a
and view->editor->show line endings does the line endings. note that although the view->editor->show white space turns on and off both tabs and spaces they are shown differently tabs as arrows and as Andrew said spaces as dots They are hard to see on some themes, you may need to try some variations.
These are not currently available as toolbar items or as keybindable (if thats a word) items.
Cheers Lex
