When I use geany and want for instance to (open a file/ search a word/ ...), a second window appears to do the action. The problem I face is that if I move the second window, the first windows also moves behind in the same way. I did not face this behaviour during last years on Arch
Current settings is:.
Geany 1.36
Ubuntu 20.04
Thanks for your help.

I believe this is an intentional bug/feature in GNOME called "Attach Modal Dialogs". I noticed this with most applications until I disabled it after upgrading to 20.04.
See here for how to disable it: https://askubuntu.com/a/972289
