The attached patch makes the xml common code not set keywords for XML files, this way the syntax highlighting works out much nicer.

Thanks. I applied the patch at least for the time until the HTML and XML code get separated.
The only change I made was, that I allowed setting the SGML keywords ("ELEMENT DOCTYPE ATTLIST ENTITY NOTATION"). I think this won't break anything. It really looks much better now.
