linuxquestions.org just released the results of their latest popularity polls, and in 2nd place for IDE/Web Development Editor of the Year, behind Eclipse and ahead of Netbeans: Geany :)

(Yeah I know, hardly scientific and relatively few voters, but...)
The Linux Mint software manager has an ongoing rating system with (a few) more people voting and has Geany (138) *TOP* of the developer tools and ahead of netbeans (95) and Eclipse 47 monodevelop 34.
Cheers Lex

Saying that Geany is better than Eclipse or netbeans or monodevelop is not saying very much at all :-).
