What might I be doing wrong? This is a simple script which should give an output...am I looking in the right place

I have written a number of scripts now but cannot get any of them to show an output! I must be misunderstanding something.
You have an error in your Python, the module name is "__main__" not "main" so the print is never executed.
This is the Geany mailing list, please ask Python questions on a Python forum, you will more likely get assistance from Python experts.
