IMO the default syntax highlighting colors are not helpful/usable. The dark themes available are also problematic for me. I'm not asking for eye candy just usable color schemes. Other than that it's the best Linux editor. Just my opinion.
Hi Lee,
Colouring styles are very much a matter of personal taste. Feel free to modify the styles to suit your usage and submit them so they can be made available.
Cheers Lex

I have long though about doing one based upon this:

but just haven't got to it yet.

Hi Andrew,
Like a significant proportion of the male population I have reduced red/green colour acuity so it looks a bit bland to me, the more blue oriented schemes of default Geany suit me better. But don't let that stop you, the majority of men are still within the normal range & very few women are affected. Just don't let comments from those who don't know they have a vision problem put you off.
Cheers Lex

Right. I like the color set Geany uses by default and use it since some years now. But I would also welcome a Tango color scheme for syntax highlighting also (or is there one yet?) ;) You see, it's really a matter of taste. It maybe should be easier for users to customize the colors, but that is done by different scripts available at [1]. Maybe one should have a bigger choice between the downloadable color sets there and maybe Geany should ship some more with it? Just needs someone who implements this... ;)
