Hi,
As I couldn't find out if someone already build such a file here is (enclosed) my javascript tags file to enable javascript auto-completion ...
Alternative link : http://dl.yent.eu/em.js.tags
I extracted stuff from the W3C JS/DOM reference so it does not include jquery/dojo and such related tags (personally I don't need them) but since it is really easy to add other tags ...
Btw once more I really love geany's flexibility when it comes to customization ...

Thanks. I added it to http://www.geany.org/Download/Extras#tags. If your URL is not permanent, we could also host the file on geany.org. Just tell us if you want so.

how do folks feel about adding tags for libs like JQuery, Prototype, and Scriptaculous? any other libs that might be a good idea?

I'll look into that -- its going to be pretty low-priority for me. I'll post the files to the list with a public-domain or GPL2 license so there are no issues, at such time as I write them. Gonna be honest, don't use prototype, so I probably won't be adding that one.

To make it easier for distributors maybe use GPL2+ if not PD. ;)

I just started using jQuery recently, and I think pitching in with some of this work could help me get a better grasp on what kind of functionality the framework has to offer. I'll gladly pitch in some jQuery stuff. No interest in the others, I'm afraid.

Just found this in an old to-do list. Is there still interest in this if I put time into it?

There is a tag file for JS available at http://wiki.geany.org/tags/start#javascript_tags
Not sure, whether it includes JQuery.
