first of: Geany is my favorite IDE for any Linux Desktop Framework. I'm using it with xfce4 and it just runs like a charm.

I would like to ask if there is the feature to split the code window horizontaly. If not I would like You to consider implementing it.

At the moment this is not possible. It was requested several times [1,2,3] but it isn't that easy to implement and it is contrary to the concept of Geany(at least which I had when started to write it).

Sorry that I didn't find these references. English is not my native language so propably I searched for the wrong terms.
I also thought that this double-editing of the same buffer would not be trivial.
