This is my 2nd day using Geany.
I'm editing an HTML file. I want to insert, e.g. <b></b> around a phrase in the content. Is there a way to select the phrase, and have geany insert the appropriate HTML tag? TIA...
Its done inside the addons plugin with version 0.19. After activating this inside the configuration dialog you can set up a keybinding for doing this. Maybe you can give it a try.
I'm running an Xubuntu 9.10 box (Karmic vintage, I think) which install Geany v0.18. How do I upgrade to v0.19? Compile from source?
Or do it the easy way and install from the PPA: https://launchpad.net/~geany-dev/+archive/ppa
Got ppa going! Nice!
Got the "addons" going! NICE!
Thanks, you guys!
