Geany as entertainment during a call

Hey there, I happened to have an empty text file open in Geany while I was on a boring phone call and noticed that the x in each of the text-boxes in the toolbar kind of made those text-boxes look like eyes, so I "doodled" a face in Geany: https://imgur.com/a/h9erT4x -- Little Girl There is no spoon.

Unload Tags File

Hello, I'm working on a tags file. The first one I made is a bit bloated, so I made a second, smaller one with a different file name. I'm assuming that when a tags file is loaded, it is just appended to the list of current tags, so loading my stripped down version would not allow me to see if I missed anything. Is there a way to unload a tags file?

The recent debian trixie depository seems not to include geany for the time being. A couple of days ago I installed trixie and then promptly broke it installing the nvidia driver. Before I broke it I installed from the geany repository. Instructions on the net showed how to accept the signing key. This new install of the trixie I installed geany from the geany depository with "deb [trusted=yes] http://geany.nightlybuilds.org/debian/sid unstable main" in the sources.list file. I cannot find the instructions again to import the key. Can somebody point me to the instructions to fetch and install the key? cheers mick

Using pdb from within Geany

I can see how to debug python code with pdb in a terminal but I cannot see how to use pdb from within Geany. The best that I have achieved so far is to add "python3 -m pdb "%f"" to the second line of the build menu. This results is the debugger starting and displaying the first line of the python code. I cannot see how to have the debugger stop on the first line ready for me to enter a pdb command. Instead the code runs to the end. No doubt I've overlooked something that should be obvious. -- Regards, Phil

Cannot Work from Command Line

Hello, I cannot seem to get Geany to work from the command line. Whether I try to launch it with no options or any options, I get the error: geany: error while loading shared libraries: libgeany.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory I somewhat recently switched to getting Geany updates from Flatpaks. I don't know if that has to do with anything. I'm running Mint 21.3.
