Future of the IRC ...

Hi folks, I'm sorry -- not much time lately … A friend brought to my attention that there have been some unfunny events at freenode-network where our chat is also hosted at the moment. To be honest I did not yet follow this topic up and really lagging details (Anyone can give up some details here?) -- I want to ask for the future of the IRC chat? What do you think? .f

1) How can I delete some words that I added to the dictionary in Geany? 2) Is there a possibility to see the list of words that I added to the dictionary in Geany? On this webpage there are no informations about it: https://plugins.geany.org/spellcheck.html

I did find a link in the Info for Users page ( https://lists.geany.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/users) For a seach tool but it does not work (for me, as of now) - seems broken. Is this temporary? http://news.gmane.org/gmane.editors.geany.general

using shortcuts in sidebar

hi i like low ressource using geany on my netbook very much! something i miss (maybe i couldn't find it): is there a way to use shortcuts for jumping from editor to sidebar AND switch with shortcuts the tabs (files, documents, symbols) in sidebar (ctrl+tab switches in editor the open files) AND going back to editor? thanks a lot. lgs

Are the Archives searchable?

Hi. New user here. I would search the archived threads for solutions to my question but searching it month by month seems a pain. Is there a tool to search the entire archive at once? And while I'm here.... in case there is a simple fix for my underlying question..... I love Geany. I do find it difficult to distinguish the active tab - it only has very tiny rounded corners. Is there a way to change settings to make the active tab more distinct? Thanks.

Geany's GPG key has expired?

Greetings. I'm not that familiar with mailing lists so I hope I'm posting this correctly. I was trying to compile Geany with the geany-1.37.1.tar.gz from https://geany.org/download/releases/ However when I downloaded the GPG Signature (geany-1.37.1.tar.gz.sig) and the GPG Key (colombanw-pubkey.txt) and compared them I got a "This key has expired!" warning. gpg --verify geany-1.37.1.tar.gz.sig geany-1.37.1.tar.gz gpg: Signature made Sun 08 Nov 2020 10:20:32 AM MST gpg: Good signature from "Colomban Wendling <ban(a)ban.netlib.re>" [expired] gpg: aka "Colomban Wendling <ban(a)herbesfolles.org>" [expired] gpg: aka "Colomban Wendling <lists.ban(a)herbesfolles.org>" [expired] gpg: Note: This key has expired!

I use Geany to edit *.sh files. I have always added LOTS of comments in my programs. However, when I'm editing, I don't always need all of them showing. Example: I want it to automatically open the file this way Bob MIers -- This email has been checked for viruses by AVG. https://www.avg.com
