I can't do file management tasks from the GTK (if I have a naming conflict I'll delete, move, or rename another file before saving... why switch to another app or terminal to do that when it's right there?), the views/sorting is better in Windows, breadcrumb navigation SUCKS when you're working on the same file in side-by-side directories/branches, etc. It's actually one of the few refreshing things when I'm using the Windows laptop... and I would even go as far to say the Windows dialog should be default on the windows builds! -Tim

[Geany] BUG: storing a custom template clutters buffer.

I have compiled and installed SVN rev4880. The replacement of custom templates doesn't work as expected. After saving the custom template, the display is cluttered. After playing with geany in this state, I've got one segfault. Restarting geany with the previously cluttered file comes up the a file which is less bad. [Geany] Different templates for .c and .h?

[Geany] Geany_socket listening on tcp, why?

Hello, I'm running this version in Puppy Linux 4.3.1: geany 0.18 (built on Aug 28 2009 with GTK 2.14.7, GLib 2.18.3) When I start geany, I get this: # netstat -an|grep -i listen unix 2 [ ACC ] STREAM LISTENING 7803 /tmp/geany_socket.b2c7ccb7 unix 2 [ ACC ] STREAM LISTENING 5616 /tmp/.X11-unix/X0 Just wondering why it is listening, and how I can shut that off. Couldn't find anything in the archives, man pages, FAQ, etc. Paul

[Geany] highlighting Pascal builtin names

Hello, I'm trying to highlight Pascal proc and func names, listing them under the key "identifiers", which should assign the style "word2"; but cannot make it work. This works fine for other languages (eg python); and Pascal keyword listed under the key "primary" are properly highlighted according to the style "word". Do not know what I'm doing wrong. [Geany] Max open files?

Hi, I am a happy Geany user since two years, Geany is Great! :-) But, I normally have most of my file open in my projects. This is a problem, since there seams to be a limit around 95(?) files that are re-opened when one is starting Geany. Is there a way to up this value? I haven't tested head, so maybe this is an obsoleted request/question. Cheers, Micael
