One little UI quirk I just noticed you may want to fix: on the Edit menu,
both "Paste" and "Preferences" have the "P" as their selection key, which
means typing Alt-E P just switches between the two without selecting
either (if there's stuff to paste). This showed up in Gnome terminal
recently too (see
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-terminal/+bug/290777 ).
All the apps I just checked make "P" execute "Paste", but the key for
"Preferences" isn't so standardized. Just among Gnome apps, gedit uses
"E" while Rhythmbox uses "N". Mozila Firefox/Thunderbird both use "N" as
well.

Hi.
It will sound easy, but... Thanks for Geany!!! I love it!! Light,
simple but totally funtional.
Now the problem ;)
I use a lot the "Search in Files" (I'm on a spanish interface so the
translation can be different). But as I work on a SVN checkout I got a
lot of false positives on files inside .svn directories.
I think the best way to get rid of them is to filter grep output on
another grep and remove lines containing ".svn/".
Is posible to change that on the configuration or is it hardcoded? I
have taked a look but didn't found anything.
Thanks in advance.
PS. Please excuse my English. It's not my native tonge.

The symbols pane does not update on save when opening through
gvfs-fuse. This used to work well in 0.15.
To reproduce:
1. Use nautilus to mount a remote ssh://
2. Open a source file (I use c++).
3. type a comment or space and click save.
4. Notice symbol navigation no longer works.
5. Ctrl+R to reload seems to make it work until next save.
Hi,
I saw a
couple of your comments on the forum about geany.
I am using windows, python and gcc. For both python & gcc it compiles well.
However,
- For gcc
it creates the c-program.exe file but doesn’t execute it. In Set Includes and
Arguments, I have set “execute” to “%e”
- For
python, it creates the geany_run_script.bat but doesn’t execute it L. Again,
the “execute” is set to “geany_run_script.bat”.
I removed
the “./” preceeding these entries in “Execute” field because I am on windows. I
understand the build-link-run is not yet stable on windows, but I just wanted
to confirm if I am missing anything.
Thanks,
Shubhanan

Hi
plugin site: http://geany-plugins.sourceforge.net/geanyprj/
Changes:
* Work with Geany 0.16
* No longer conflict with Geany native project management
* Includes only "Go to tag" feature

Hello Great Geany Developers!
Congratulations on one more great version of the IDE that we all love.
Just want to re - add a request (already talked about this some weeks
ago) to get an even better split window plugin. The idea is to have
the terminal in a vertical position on the left side of the open file.
The split window allows to compare two files (for example) side by
side but doesn't allow to to change the location of the terminal.
I imagine that this may still be in the works, and if so, sorry for my
impatience :p
Keep up the good work! Cheers,
Marcelo
Hello,
Thank for your IDE. I'm french, also, sorry for my english.
I post to suggest an improvement. Is it possible to add a function to
select the text of the current line to the next marker ?
Thank for any response.
Dear Geany devs,
I've updated my local Geany install to the latest svn version and
recompiled the geanyprj plugin. Since I build Geany in a 'odd' target
(/usr/local/stow/geany-r3468) I have to re-enable all plugins after an
update.
Enabling 'project' and closing the dialog immediately crashed Geany...
I'm not sure how to create a meaningful backtrace...
