[Geany] Bug: Change console crash

Hey, I just found a bug in the Preferences dialog: 1. Open the preferences. 2. Enter "gnome-terminal" instead of xterm. 3. Click Apply or Ok. [Geany] Changed template file location and behaviour

Hi, we changed the location of template files. Until now, they were created in directly in the configuration directory, e.g. in ~/.geany. To keep the configuration directory clean and not spam it with many files, since SVN r1163 a new subdirectory templates/ will be created where the template will be created. So, you can safely delete old files starting with template... in your configuration directory and you should adjust the newly created ones in the templates/ subdirectory as needed. Furthermore, we changed some of the templates(gpl, function description) and removed the template for multi line comment. You can still insert a multi line comment but it will be created dynamically by inserting three empty lines and comment them according to the current filetype. The special versions of the gpl and function description template for Pascal and filetypes which use '#' as comment character were removed and there is only one of the these templates without any comment characters. They will be added dynamically when inserting the template. And last but not least, there is a new template to insert a BSD licence notice. Check it out. Hi all - I'm a first-timer here, and have just been "blown away" by how **excellent** Geany is! And *fast*! I just *love* the nice clean, *simple* layout. Not like something like say, KDevelop which has a few dozen buttons and is really cluttered and impossible to use. Up until now, the nicest IDE I'd come across was one in my distant-past Windows-using days - Dev-C++. Very nice. Now that I've been on Linux for a couple of years, I tried OpenLDev, but it always seemed to have glitches here and there. Never quite worked as it should. So, I downloaded Geany about 10 mins ago and have hit the jackpot! I'm sticking with Geany - keep up the great work, devs! :-) - Andy

[Geany] Crash - Need Help Fixing

All, 1) Steps to reproduce: Start a long compile (This keeps the compile window busy) (Long = 10+ seconds to complete) 2) Open the "Open File" dialog 3 times. On the 3rd time geany will crash. I do it by pressing CTRL+O Attached is some potentially interesting valgrind. I tried suppressing writing to the compile window but that didn't fix the problem. I need a suggestion as to where else to look. Cheers, - Bob --

[Geany] OSX and Geany

Hi there, I am wondering if anyone has gotten geany to work under OSX? I have managed to compile and run geany 0.10 using g++ 3.3 however there is something that is causing it to hang when I hit the compile button.
