Hi folks,
This is a short reminder that we will start the release cycle for Geany 1.27 soon.
The release is currently scheduled for 2nd weekend of March so there will be feature and string freeze at end of February.
Please ensure you send all pull request in time which needs to be included to 1.27 and as a plugin maintainer please check whether there is any open PR you need to review. As a translator: The po files will be updated by end of February in git. Meanwhile you will find up to date files at i18n.geany.org and i18n.geany.org/plugins (or do a local update with make update-po)
Cheers, Frank
Hi,
A short reminder. The first phase for releasing 1.27 starting upcoming weekend. I will do the string freeze so please ensure all changed strings are in. Also for better testing ensure all features are merged.
Thanks, Frank

Hi,
I would like to update and improve the Dutch translation of Geany.
Currently it has several inconsistencies: words not glued together (when they should in Dutch); use of imperative here, infinitive there, when all should be infinitive; some things in lower case, others in upper case; different words used for the same thing...
Are you okay with this, Peter?
(CC'ing, just in case he isn't subscribed.)

Hello Benno,
Nice to hear you're interested in updating the Dutch translation. How do you propose to co-operate on this? If you have a Github account would be handy.
Greetings,
Peter Scholtens

Hallo Peter,
I would like to update and improve the Dutch translation of Geany.
(Sorry, mail is stuck at the provider; I read yours in the archives.)
I don't have a github account -- I don't like their license. :|
So attached is my first shot (four passes over the entire file), tested with 1.26 on an up-to-date Manjaro.
I know: /lots/ of changes. Many were needed, to get all things consistently in the infinitive (not fully done yet). Some hotkeys that conflicted or were missing have been changed. Some ellipses that were missing were added. And many wordings were changed.
So... let me know if you see anything wrong or that you don't agree with. I'll adapt it.
Regards,
Benno

Ping? Peter?

There is a PR on github https://github.com/geany/geany/pull/944 ... is this the consolidated work ready to merge?
