Hi translators and friends of Geany,
Short after announcement of string freeze for Geany, I'm happy we also have a string freeze for the combined Geany-plugins project which is also planned to be released in about 2 weeks.
As before, I'd be very happy if you could send a patch or complete file with translation to either the geany-i18n mailing list or direct to me within the next two weeks so we can include it to the next release. Deadline will be 2010-06-02.
To make it more easy for you I've already uploaded updated versions of the po files to svn with r1395. You can access them as always at
http://geany.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/geany-plugins/trunk/geany-plugins
or by checking out the svn tree of Geany by using e.g.
svn co https://geany.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/geany-plugins/trunk/geany-plugins geany-plugins
Fans of git can also use the interface provided by http://git.geany.org by using
git clone http://git.geany.org/git/geany-plugins
Also at http://i18n.geany.org/plugins are statistics and daily updated files available.
As mentioned before, we are trying to have all translations complete by 2010-06-02.
If your language was translated by two or more in past, please double check directly with them or by pinging me, so we don't need to translate same things two or three times. Also please feel to ping me for every question or if you like to start a new translation for an unsupported language.
Thanks and happy translating ;) Frank
Hi, is there any downloadable package (like the nightly geany_svn.tgz) so I can build and test the translation? (I can't checkout cvs/git/svn)
Thanks,

I don't know at the moment. I will try to provide some later today. Currently I'm only remote.
Cheers, Frank

We have http://download.geany.org/geany_svn.tar.gz which is generated every night from SVN. These are the sources which you can compile on your own.And there are a couple of binary packages for Debian/Ubuntu, Fedora, ArchLinux and Windows on http://geany.nightlybuilds.org/ which are also updated every night.
Do you need something else?
Regards, Enrico
Thanks Enrico, that's the one I refer to in my first email. What I need is a tar.gz of the geany-plugins package, Or are they included in the nigthly build?
Cheers,

Ah, sorry I didn't get it on the first run. The geany-plugins SVN code isn't available at .tar.gz yet. But I just hacked the nightly update scripts a bit so that http://download.geany.org/geany_plugins_svn.tar.gz is created nightly as well.
The nightly builds don't contain the plugins except the Windows build. Maybe I'll work on this after the 0.19 release.

Hi everyone,
Attached is a galician translation for geany-plugins. It's not completed, because of a bunch of reasons:
- I am a complete ignorant about TeX, LaTeX, bibTeX and all that sort of things - I am not sure about some aspects of "version control systems", specially about how some actions are named in galician (it's a shame, but I know some "technical stuff" better in english than in my own language, lol) - I ran out of time before having enough time to investigate about LaTeX and these version control details
Perhaps, in a next version, I will be able to provide a more complete translation.
It's 6:41 AM. I am going to sleep, finally. It's been a week with very few sleeping hours. Damm geany-plugins!! (hehe)
Well, thank you all for your work on these usefull plugins. Best regards!
Good Morning,
