Hello,
I'm resending the Portuguese translation file for Geany, since due to that double quote "problem" (that I had thought to be a typo), made me eliminate one of the m in %mmode, I now changed my translation to match the original.
Kind regards, André

Hello,
the Portuguese translation file is annexed to this message.
Thanks very much. I've just send it to svn.
Furthermore, I believe I have found a typo in the status bar message: *line: %l / %L\t col: %c\t sel: %s\t %w %t %mmode: %M encoding: %e filetype: %f scope: %S* it surely is the word *mode*.
Hmmm... Looks a bit like. Will be checked and corrected :)

Seems there are some untranslatable string in the status bar...like "pos: xxx style: xxx". And here's the updated Simplified Chinese translation file.
Thanks very much. I just committed to svn.

Well, this is kind of a funny typo :) Line which should causing this looks like: // .... fmt = NZV(statusbar_template) ? statusbar_template : /* Status bar statistics: col = column, sel = selection. */ _("line: %l / %L\t col: %c\t sel: %s\t %w %t %m" "mode: %M encoding: %e filetype: %f scope: %S"); // ....
I assume that because of the closing double quotes gettext is generating the combined line. The easiest fix could be to add another whitespace after the %m of the first line of string but as its already late here I don't want to decide this at the moment :)
Cheers, Frank

Hi translators and friends of Geany,
As Nick already mentioned on Geany-devel mailing list [1] we are entering home stretch for our next major release of Geany: 0.20 which is planned to be released around 2012-12-20 with a delay of 2 month on 5th anniversary of Geany ;)
After 0.19.1 and 0.19.2 were only fixing a couple of bugs and doing only small improvements during the last month, the new release will introduce a number of improvements, bugfixes and of course also new features. Unfortunately this means for us translators, that there are a number of strings which needs to be translated and/or reviewed before we can ship the new release. Therefor I like to ask all 'old' and maybe new translators to check the translations so we really could put in updated translations files into the new release.
I'd be very happy if you could send a patch or complete file with translation to either the geany-i18n mailing list or direct to me within the next two weeks so we can include it to the next release. Deadline will be 2010-12-18.
To make it more easy for you I've already uploaded updated versions of the po files to svn with r5464. You can access them as always at
http://geany.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/geany/trunk/po/
or by checking out the svn tree of Geany by using e.g.
svn co https://geany.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/geany/trunk geany
Fans of git can also use the interface provided by http://git.geany.org by using
git clone http://git.geany.org/git/geany
Also at http://i18n.geany.org/ are statistics and daily updated files available.
As mentioned before, we are trying to have all translations complete by 2010-12-18.
If your language was translated by two or more in past, please double check directly with them or by pinging me, so we don't need to translate same things two or three times. Also please feel to ping me for every question or if you like to start a new translation for an unsupported language.
Thanks and happy translating ;) Frank
