ANN: Geany-Plugins 1.23 released!

Hi, Right after release 1.23 of Geany we are happy to announce also the release of Geany-Plugins 1.23. The most important changes: * Add new plugin Commander * Add new plugin markdown * Add new plugin Scope * Removing plugin geanyGDB * Major rework on Tableconvert * Updated translations: ca, de, es, fr, nl, tr A complete list can be found at https://github.com/geany/geany-plugins/blob/1.23.0/NEWS As usual, tarballs and their corresponding GPG signatures can be found at <http://plugins.geany.org/downloads.html>. There are also Windows-builds available at this place. We want to thank all developers, translators and everyone who contributed to this release with patches, feedback, bug reports and so on. [ANN] Geany 1.23 is out!

We are happy to announce a new release of Geany! For a comprehensive list of changes please see: http://www.geany.org/Documentation/ReleaseNotes Some highlights: * Rewrite of printing code. * Update Scintilla to 3.2.3. * Always display editor text in LTR direction. * Fix re-opening files with unknown but detected encoding from last session. * Replace 'Open file in a new tab' save dialog option with new 'Document->Clone' menu item. * Lots of JavaScript symbols parsing improvements. * Add filetypes AsciiDoc and Go. * Add translations: et, eu, he, hi, sr. * Update translations: ca, cs, de, es, fi, gl, it, kk, lt, nl, pt_BR, ru, sv, sl, tr. String Freeze for Geany 1.23

Hi translators and friends of Geany, And again we are in final line for another Geany release -- 1.23! The list of changes done for this release is long (as usual) and so a lot of string have changed or were added. I like to ask all translators to check the translations. I'd be very happy if you could send a patch, a pull request or single file with translation to either the geany-i18n mailing list or direct to me within the next two weeks so we can include it to the next release. Deadline will be 2013-03-97. To make it more easy for you I've already uploaded updated versions of the po files to git master at github. You can either download the direct via web or by cloning the repository from https://github.com/geany/geany This can be done e.g. with git clone https://github.com/geany/geany.git Also at http://i18n.geany.org/ are statistics and daily updated files available. As mentioned before, we are trying to have all translations complete by 2013-03-07. If your language was translated by two or more in past, please double check directly with them or by pinging me, so we don't need to translate same things two or three times. Hi translators and freinds of Geany, We are on final steps for release Geany-Plugins 1.23 together with Geany 1.23. The list of changes done for this release is long and so a lot of string have changed or were added. I like to ask all translators to check their translations. Also if your language is not having a translation by now I also ask you to add it ;) I'd be very happy if you could send a patch, a pull request or single file with translation to either the geany-i18n mailing list or direct to me within the next two weeks so we can include it to the next release. Compiling plugins from git tarball fails

Hi, I'm trying to compile the plugins from the git tarball but I get an error. plugins translation issues

Hi, Please check them: 1) Waf script cannot copy scope.glade into geany plugins data directory, but old method ( ./autogen.sh + make + make install ) does it. 2) Markdown plugin configure page does not use localized strings. 3) Mini Script plugin configure page does not use localized strings. 4) Numbered plugin configure page does not use localized strings. Plugins translations are a bit outdated

Hi folks, As most of you already know, we do also have a plugins project which extends Geany by a huge number of plugins [1]. Unfortunately these are currently not very well translated. As there have been a bunch of changes since 1.22 release a new plugins release will be soonish on the finish line (planning not yet done, so an announce will be send out once it is really done). However, I think it would be a good point to start updating and maybe adding new translations to the plugins-project so users can have both: translated Geany as well as localized geany-plugins.
