True, but its rude to change something without discussing it with the creator first :)
Personally, I don't think it's rude at all. If someone doesn't like the changes, they can just be rolled back and/or a discussion can take place.
I guess this is where personal and cultural sensitivities and judgement meets the big wide internet.
I agree that some changes, like spelling, are reasonable to change first, mention later. (so long as you don't change my spelling to US English, see what I mean about cultural sensitivities :)
Of course purely additions are less likely to offend than deletions, but general wiki etiquette definitely sees unagreed deletions as rude.
So I wasn't going to remove the entry on Google, and I havn't checked all the others to be adding it to all of them, so discuss first.
