What is ansis.sys and where do you see it? Anyway, I tested it again on Windows 2000 and it works with the "-d" switch. Did you actually see the extra opened console window when starting Geany with "-d"?
Not sure why it shouldn't work for you. But of course, the "-d" switch is also just a workaround, not a solution. It just needs someone who knows Windows and can write the proper code to handle this.
