[ANN] Fork of Geany

Dear All, I has become apparent that Geany has moved away from its roots as a lightweight, low overhead editor for small computers. It is therefore proposed to fork Geany to return to its roots and pursue alternate user communities. The intention of the fork will be to shrink Geany as small as possible to target the neglected niche of wearable computers. In support of this Geany will be adapted to operate off head mounted accelerometer inputs allowing user input by inclining of the head. The lack of screens will of course require voice output to be added as well. I do hope that many developers will join in this exciting and innovative development of : Whiny Teany Weany Beany Leany Geany. Cheers Lex 1 April (AEDT)

GPG key refresh

Hi! Just a heads up, I'm in the process of migrating from my old GPG key (0x8f02a4110) to my new one (0x588752a1), so I'll be updating http://plugins.geany.org/hyperair-pubkey.txt soon. Should I refresh the signatures for the previous releases as well? Or perhaps leave a hyperair-pubkey-old.txt around? -- Kind regards, Loong Jin

Hi, I support Colomban's commit, but I think that these macros make code hard to read. I therefore think we should only use them in places where performance actually matters. If the time saving is probably under a millisecond, we should not use them as it makes code harder to understand. Save them for inner loops IMO. Is SourceForge broken?

A guide to patches?

Hey guys, i see that there's an active development going on here with all the patches and stuff, but i guess not everyone knows how to apply them or is it's just me... Either way, can someone give a hint on using them? I guess it's somewhat trivial to you, but it's not the same here :D I'm particularly interested in the new tag parser and the split window patches :) Thanks :)

Hi, I recently updated the geany-themes project to use the new addition from r5596[1]. Should Geany's documentation be updated to explain the new feature? Initially it takes few seconds to load the project (parse all files). Delay during typing is much less then second. Vala Keywords Update

Hi, I have updated the list of Vala keywords. I also added Valadoc keywords to the 'docComment' value. There were some keywords that I didn't know about in the 'primary' value, so I left them to be safe.
