Well, it is work in progress. There will be probably more actions which
are stored in the history.

In doubt, it is feature ;-).
To be serious: I'm not sure what you mean. You get an history item when
switching between file tabs?

Yes. This was requested some time ago. But until now, nobody
implemented it. IMO, it is not that necessary. It's more or less only
eye-candy but (probably) requires several changes in the code.
