Slight correction, I pointed out that the command was different to the
default and appeared to be missing the "job" before the equals.

I don't know abacus and have no idea if the different order of the
arguments matters.

So you set the command in the "Set build commands" dialog to abacus
datacheck job="%f" interactive ? Including the "s

When you say "didn't work" was there an error message?

Also always provide the version of Geany and the operating system you are using.
