"better search & replace regex support" is on the TODO list. The
current regex engine is the default Scintilla one, but it should be
possible to switch this out to the same POSIX-compliant regex engine
used for Geany's tagmanager. It just needs someone to figure out the
details of how to do this (or ask on the Scintilla ML).
