[Geany] 64 bit issues with plugins

Hi anyone aware if there's anything specific required to get plugins
working on 64 bit machines? I have a couple of folks trying to compile
on 64 bit but it crashes straight way as the plugin loads,
unfortunately i can't test it.

Any ideas? (apart from shoddy code from me!)
