Ah, now I remember!

This is somewhat a vague one:

_Undo history -> diff in new tab_
Recreate the original file by undoing the whole undo history (in the 
background), compare it with the current version and open the 
differences in a new tab by parsing it through 'diff' (with configurable 
options). This way creating patches would really be a breeze! (Speed is 
not an issue on this kind of action...)
