@elextr I wouldn't say it's invalid, and I think it was mentioned a few times in the past several years.

However, doing this is somewhat tricky, because you seldom want to open *all* files recursively in a directory, but rather a selected set of file types at best.

@hpmuthu I'd suggest you to look at some project plugins like Project Organizer, which maintains a list of files part of the project based on a base directory and a set of file patters (plus additional bells and whistles).
