This comes as news! I've been suffering for about a year now,
constantly trying to understand why it wouldn't be working. One thing
that made me think that this wasn't possible was the tooltip for
'Execute programs in VTE'. Is there a (solid) reason for keeping the
'Override Geany keybindings' unchecked by default?
