I have installed spellcheck. Cause i wanted to spellcheck both in greek and in english language, i joined two dictionaries together, a Greek one with an english one by simply adding one another below the other. adjusting any difference in number of words in the head. Nothing else.
First was inserted the greek one and then the english one. the .dic file is a normal text files with a list of words and at its head has the number of words. Then adjusted aff files accordingly (normal txt files). Kate can normally open both files, almost immidiately with correct iso code.
- However, geany prints 828525 lines of warnings in terminal before open the file. This means that it takes about ~1 minute to geany to open. - And also fail to detect the right iso which is 8859-7 (greek one -eastern europe). - Moreover, when i set the iso code manually when it is already opened to correct one, fail to change the words to the right iso code. - I must set iso when opening file in more parameters in order to display the characters in the right manner.
First note that I don't know much about the spellcheck plugin so this is just a speculation.
When you concatenated the two dictionaries, what encoding did you use for the file that contains both of them? To be sure you use the same encoding as the original Greek dictionary, I'd suggest the following: 1. Make a copy of the original Greek dictionary which you'll use as the combined Greek-English dictionary 2. Open it in Geany. Make sure that Greek words look alright - if not, use "File->Reload as" and select the right encoding. 3. Open the English dictionary, select all lines, copy them, and paste them to the file containing the Greek dictionary 4. Check if such a combined dictionary works for you
it is a txt files. how i can find their encoding?

By checking whether the result looks alright when you load it in the given encoding (using "File->Reload as").
I suspect that the correct encoding for the dictionary files is UTF-8 (like everything else these days) and you used 8859-7 instead (these region-specific encodings are used rarely now as UTF covers all languages).
the other bug? why printing thousands of waning lines while the code scheme warning can be a single one?

Sure, that should probably be fixed in the plugin. Please report the bug in https://github.com/geany/geany-plugins (the plugin isn't part of Geany itself).
Just curious, did using UTF-8 solve your issue?
file -- Reload as yes, fix the coding issue using ISO 8859-7 (eastern europe)

I won't, I don't use the plugin myself ;-)
Since the original issue seems to be fixed, I'm closing it.
