I didn't add `.adoc` to the default because it has lots of other meanings, especially on windows.
This has been mentioned somewhere, but I'm not sure if its in the Geany or Asciidoc list and google fails me so far so I can't reasonably expect you to have found it :smile:
That shouldn't stop you adding it to your personal config of course.

1. For milions of Github users "adoc" means asciidoc!
2. The only other association I could find is "Authentica Secure Office" (http://www.authentica.com/). This product is not available any more. Let's see it the other way: Even there is another association there is only one human readable text format: asciidoc.
3. I checked my 3 other editors: for Brackests, Atom and Vim "adoc" means "asciidoc".

Yeah, the Authentica thing isn't gonna be openable in Geany, and any other associations have fallen off Googles first two pages. PR #711.
