This may apply to other versions as well, but I'm using Sierra.
The tabbed dialog boxes don't read the cursor position correctly. It's basically "move until the thing you want to click acts like you're hovering". Pulling the tab out as a separate window resolves the issue. The main editor doesn't have this issue.

In Windows / Firefox ... it is common to open the search with ctrl-f and to find the next item with F3 ...
Changing the shortcut to F3 did not work in Linux Mint ...

Its is difficult to find tab of current file if there are many files opened at once since all of them have same colour. The current tab should have different colour so that user can find it quickly among other tabs.

I have a 2GB memory system and using geany 1.36 with web helper disabled. I am tryning to create a webpage and while editing some tags for a web page I noticed that geany becomes slow and unresponsive. In my case its this tag `<div class = "col-xs-12 col-sm-6 col-md-6 col-lg-6" >` , the more I edit these kind of tags the more geany becomes unresponsive and scrolling the page becomes gittery. The problem only occurs in this opened html file and when I change the focus to some other files then geany works normally.
This is the html page https://pastebin.com/vc2J5gcn

Is this still active, or any intent to merge it into mainline? I would really like this feature!

Compiling the current Github version or even release version 1.36.0 Terminal is not working.
I understand that Terminal needs libvte.
The version I have installed is libvte-2.91.so.0.5800.2
So Geany doesn't recognize her!
If I try to link using the name libvte.so Geany doesn't run
I know if I compile using the option --enable-gtk3 the terminal works
It turns out that Gt3 is different the tab bar is bigger and I didn't like it very much
So I would like to know how do I use Geany Gtk2 with Terminal working, because in the past I used it like this
Any help, information, tip will be very welcome, I appreciate it!

I understand that depending on Source I need to run autogen
**Doubt:** In my slackbuild I don't use ./configure
And now I'm worried if I need after running autogen also run ./configure
Although everything seems to work, I would like to know if I am doing it the right way!
I'm doing it below
```
SLKCFLAGS="-O2 -fPIC"
CFLAGS="$SLKCFLAGS" \
CXXFLAGS="$SLKCFLAGS" \
./autogen.sh \
--prefix=/usr \
--sysconfdir=/etc \
--libdir=/usr/lib64 \
--localstatedir=/var \
--mandir=/usr/man \
--docdir=/usr/doc/$PRGNAM-$VERSION \
--disable-static \
--build=$ARCH-slackware-linux
```
Any help or tip I am grateful!
