When I get the user input and try to print it concatenated with other strings, the statement is printed out with the added string at the end showing up at the very beginning and cutting off words at the beginning. When I wrote the same exact code in IDLE, the print statement is perfectly fine.

All the while, `Nimrod` has been renamed `Nim` :) It would be nice to have native `nim` support in geany.

Hi I want to use Geany with C/C++ on win7 x64
https://wiki.geany.org/howtos/win32/getting-started
I followed instructions above, however TDM-GCC (the compiler) 32bit gives me an error "procedure __printf__ in libintl-8.dll was not found" while as the 64 version works fine (in the cmd command). As I actually need to compile opencv projects in 64 bit, I am satisfied with this compiler.
So my question is there any way to use the 64 version of the compiler in Geany?

Since the Scintilla C++ lexer started to fold on `()` [1], the code
looking up the current scope is confused whenever the function
signature spans multiple lines. Fix this by resolving matching
parentheses on the candidate line before checking the fold level that
follows actually contains the current line.
Fixes #1279.

The symbols tree view is allowing to navigate through all symbols parsed by CTags. However, when editing a symbol in the editor panel, the highlighted symbol won't synchronize in the tree view. As discussed in issue #1325, an option is to resolve the symbol from the current cursor position.
My implementation of the feature is doing this in two steps:
1. Check if a direct match can be made between the cursor line and one of the TMTag inside the tree
2. If no direct match but in a scope, resolve by selecting this scope
If both steps fail, the selection is cleared.
One thing that I am not sure yet how to implement is the auto-adjustment of the scrollbar to reach the symbol if it's out of visible range. Maybe someone has an idea how to do that in a clean fashion? Should the automatic scroll be an option or default behavior?

When navigating through a file in Geany, the highlighted function in the side panel (Symbols) could change to reflect the function our cursor is inside. I think this could help a lot while debuging, and doesn't seem too hard to do. I'm not sure if this is the place to ask for it, though. Thank you all for the great software! :)

As pointed out by @kugel- on IRC some functions show scope "unknown" when the cursor is inside them, but they would be expected to show the function name, eg `document_open_file()`
I found it seems to be if the function declaration is more than one line, the scope shows "unknown" when the cursor is in the function body, change the declaration to one line and the scope shows correctly.

-Geany 1.29
-GTK 2.24.31, GLib 2.50.2
-macOS Sierra (Version 10.12.2)
After the update to macOS Sierra, all compiling failed.
For Example the following code creat following error:
> program Hello (input, output);
>
> begin
> writeln ('Hello, world.')
> end.
After compiling and "run or view the file":
> /var/folders/wp/8mrx8h3x1bb8k3fq10hr6n400000gn/T/geany_run_script_QZVTSY.sh ; exit;
> File "hello.py", line 1
> program Hello (input, output);
> ^
> SyntaxError: invalid syntax
>

> ------------------
> (program exited with code: 1)
> Press return to continue

Anyone please help?
Thank you

I was using Geany to write a python class with functions. I created a test class, and got a compile error using <f8> indicating an indentation error. When I looked at the file in IDLE3 the file displayed with identation errors saved by Geany, and found by Geany during compile, but not displayed on the edit screen , and not really fixable. I have attached screen captures for information. I am using Geany version 1.27, GTK 2.24.30, GLib 2.48.0
