[Geany-Users] Edit files with append attribute

Ok, so no editor is able to write to a file with append attribute.
So is that attribute mainly for log files?

An editor changes the contents of the file, changes could be anywhere,
not just at the end. Therefore the whole file is re-written on save
which is not an append operation.
